I explore cultural environments through artifacts in landscapes, focusing on architectural construction
and deconstruction. I combine metal leaf, drawing, and oil painting to evoke gradual physical changes
and impermanence. Time is central to my practice, and I enjoy sampling various techniques, blending
metal leaf, painting, drawing, and graphics to highlight nature’s diversity and fragility.

In my ongoing series, Residuum – Something Remaining, I address the rapid extinction of insects,
reflecting my deep concern for our world’s current state. My work delves into life’s cyclical nature and
the beauty of decay, using sculptural pieces made from field-found ammunition with eye prostheses.
These pieces capture my fascination with the blurred boundaries of war and existence, striving to
reveal haunting beauty within these contrasts.
